Measurement Guide
Measure Width and Length Correctly
Shades can be inside or outside mounted. Considering the window frame depth is the first step.
Inside Mount
- A clean, built-in look, 2 1/2 inches minimum depth requirementļ¼
- 3/8 inch headrail deduction taken at your actual measuring to ensure the side does not touch the edges tightlyļ¼
- Note there will be slight gaps on the sides due to fabric deductions.
Outside Mount
- No minimum depth requirement.
- We recommend ordering additional width 4-6 inches to prevent light gaps on the sides of your window.
